Both of the co-founders of BPI have been fascinated with the paranormal most of their lives. After multiple paranormal experiences and years of exploring haunts and scary places, they decided that they needed to learn more. They pursued any ghost hunting team that would have them. We finally joined the former WSPS (Wind Spirits Paranormal Society) out of Traverse City, Michigan.

After two or three Metaphysical investigations, they founded BPI to pursue a more scientific approach to paranormal pursuit. We remained open minded about the approach WSPS took during their investigations. We accompanied them on further investigations as BPI to assist with data gathering and debunking evidence. In 2007 BPI was offered and accepted administrative control of the WSPS and absorbed the assets and remaining members of the society. They became part of BPI. We were happy about the consolidation of the two groups.

BPI has investigated claims of paranormal activity all over Michigan including private residences in Mancelona, National City, Lake City, Kinross and Traverse City. We have investigated businesses in Traverse City and were present at two investigations of a haunted business in Central Lake. We have performed a confidential investigation of a lighthouse for a government agency and even a ghost town called Pere Cheney near Roscommon Michigan and another called Quervo in New Mexico. Through these investigations BPI has been successful in gathering data that defies explanation. These pieces of data include Audio, Video and Picture evidence and will be posted for you to view and listen to.

We believe that there is to much unexplained phenomenon to say that there is not life after death here on earth, and we want to prove it! To do that, BPI will have to gather as much recorded data as possible, debunking and reviewing this data honestly to eliminate any possible explanation for unusual anomalies found within this recorded data. The data left unexplained after review and debunking can now be called evidence. This evidence can now be presented to our clients for their review. The client will be presented a verbal and written account of our investigation results. Audio, video and pictures that we have determined to be evidence will be presented with an explanation of the process BPI uses to discount any possible explanations. Regardless of what BPI presents as evidence, it is very important to us to educate our clients about what they are experiencing. Not everything we find is paranormal, and not everything can be explained.

As long as we can still ask ourselves…..”Is anybody out there?” We will continue our pursuit.
